Dialpad Inc., just announced that the AI-powered communication and collaboration tool now integrates with one of the leading whiteboard and innovations platform developers, Miro.

Starting today, Dialpad meeting attendees who join via the web or from the Dialpad desktop app – can leverage Miro’s whiteboard technology; before, during, and after their meetings. Irwin Lazar, Co-founder, President & Principal Analyst, Metrigy, notes the partnership should provide a sizable boost to those who value productivity, further noting:

Already, Dialpad is an industry-leading, cloud-based business communications platform that delivers high-quality calling, video, chat, and contact center services from a single platform. Learn more about Dialpad pricing and plans here.

“The addition of advanced whiteboard technology makes the offering even more (potentially) enticing to the nearly 45% of companies that say they use or have plans to adopt some form of a virtual whiteboard to empower distributed teams,” Lazar added. In a statement, a Dialpad spokesperson wrote concerning the new partnership, telling readers:

“The partnership brings together Dialpad’s scalable and reliable video conferencing solution, Dialpad Meetings, with Miro’s best-in-class collaborative whiteboard platform to enable the fluidity of work that surrounds remote meetings.”

Before a Dialpad meeting begins, participants can collaborate in a Miro board to share agenda items and documents. They can access many of the advanced features during calls, too. Following a meeting, users are sent a recording and a transcript which gets posted on the Miro board.

The newly added whiteboard technology can be used for everything from running brainstorming sessions and workshops to planning and designing new products/services. Quite a cool feature, too, if you ask me, as I did have the chance to see it in action when I interviewed Dialpad’s CEO a few weeks ago.

Following our chat – I received a transcript that tracked elements like negative/positive sentiment, curse words, etc. Consequently – the transcript made my job a lot easier. Stay tuned for the latest UCC news on GetVoIP News. We’ve got the most recent breaking UC and channel headlines.
