Pingo is a prepaid calling card service of iBasis—one of the world’s leading international long-distance carriers. As such, Pingo ensures quality, reliability, and competitive pricing—i.e. there are no hidden charges or fees, just a flat rate monthly maintenance fee. As a calling card service, users are responsible for filling their cards with minutes—which are divided by local and toll-free. Pricing is determinant of the amount of minutes selected, as well as location to and from. For example, for US to US and US to Canada calls $5.00 USD is equivalent to 286 minutes local, or 182 minutes toll-free. All rates are per-minute. Auto-Recharge (automatically keeps your minutes topped) is also available. Pingo also offers a softphone, which allows calls to be made directly from the computer. Additionally there are web-dial calls from 200+ countries available for $1.75 per minute. Aside from this, there is also pin-less dialing and online account management, as well as a mobile app for iPhones, Androids, and/or Blackberry devices. The provider also offers a refer-a-friend program—which users are eligible for a $5.00 debit. Pingo also offers online based contact information and FAQS for customer support.
