CallCentric Adds Features & Security

In the wake of a vicious and sophisticated Denial of Service attack, CallCentric has enhanced account security by adding an IP Whitelist Feature. When activated, the IP Whitelist feature will invalidate certain existing registrations in favor of specific IP addresses that have been registered using CallCentric’s account portal. This new service is a great balance between the convenience of being able to use CallCentric’s service anywhere, and the security needed to prevent unauthorized usage.

CallCentric has also added a handful of new features to their incoming and outgoing calling plans. As part of their Fall 2012 promotion CallCentric has added free vanity toll free number search and toll free DID porting. Normally, the DID porting would be subject to a $25 fee.
